Rocket Disposable Insufflation Sets eliminate the established cross-contamination issues presented by traditional ‘bag and netting’ sigmoidoscopy bellows in a simple, safe and cost effective solution.

• READY TO USE: complete Insufflation Set with control balloon and inflation bulb with pressure release valve, individually wrapped in cartons of 10 units.

• COMPATIBLE with all standard reusable sigmoidoscope light heads and systems.

• REMOVES THE NEED FOR FILTERS: Medical Device Alert 2010/060 required the addition of filters to sigmoidoscope insufflation sets to reduce the risk of cross infection. Whilst reducing the risk of infection from aspirated fluid, single use filters do not eliminate the risks of contamination from repeated contact with difficult to reprocess netted bags and inflation bulbs.
